Suomalaispelaajat ovat ennen LET:n osakilpailun viimeistä päivää ennätyksellisen runsaslukuisesti hakemassa menestystä Sveitsissä.
Karina Kukkonen on yhdeksäntenä, kolme lyöntiä kärjestä. Hänellä on lauantaina aamulla vielä pelattavanaan kolme reikää toisesta kierroksesta. Kaksi väylistä on par-viitosia, joten Oulusta kotoisin oleva Kukkkonen voi kiilata itsensä aivan kärjen tuntumaan ennen 10.30 käynnistyvää finaalikierrosta.
Ursula Wikström, LInda Osala, Tiia Koivisto ja Noora Komulainen saavat valmistautua kolmanteen kierrokseen ainakin pari tuntia Kukkosta pidempään.

Lauantaista muodostunee Golfpark Holzhäusernin kentällä monia käänteitä sisältävä thrilleri, sillä peräti 23 pelaajaa on 1-6 lyönnin päässä uransa ensimmäistä voittoa tavoittelevasta Englannin Liz Youngista (-9).

Suurin suosikki viimeiseen päivään lähdettäessä onkin ehdottomasti Ruotsin Linn Grant (-8), joka tavoittelee kauden viidettä voittoaan LET:lla. Reilun vuoden ammattilaisena pelannut Grant on noussut maailmanlistalla jo sijalle 46:s, ja LET:n pistelistalla 2022 hänen ainoa uhkaajansa on toinen megatähti Maja Stark.
Molempien esitykset jo nousut Solheim Cupin valintakriteereissä ovat niin vankkoja, että heillä on toinen jalka jo sisällä Espanjassa syyskuussa 2023 pelattavaan otteluun USA:ta vastaan.
