LET:n Aramco Team Series -sarjaan kuuluva yhdistetty joukkue- ja henkilökohtainen kilpailu kutistui sateen ja myrskyn takia kahden kierroksen mittaiseksi. Kiinan Xi Yu Lin sai arvokkaan päänahan kukistamalla uusinnassa megatähtien luokkkaan kuuluvan Jin Young Kon.
Aramco Team Seriesin finaalipäivä sunnuntaina typistyi henkilökohtaisen sarjan uusintaan voitosta. Hong Kongissa sade ja myrsky tekivät kolmannen kierroksen pelaamisen mahdottomaksi.
Korean Jin Young Ko ja Kiinan Xi Yu Lin olivat kahden kierroksen jälkeen tasatuloksessa -11.
Heidän välinen uusintansa saatiin aamutuimaan pelattua. Taisto päättyi kiinalaisen upotettua toisella reiällä pitkältä matkalta voittoputin.

Ykköstila oli Xi Yu Linillle kolmas Ladies European Tourilla.
Kaksi aiempaakin ovat Aasiasta, kotimaassaan Kiinassa vuosina 2014 ja 2015 voittamastaan Sanya Ladies Openista.
Suurimmalle osalle golfia seuraavista Xi Yu Lin on nimenä tuiki tuntematon, vaikka hän kipusi kuluvalla kaudella maailmanlistalla ensimmäistä kertaa kymmenen joukkoon, yhdeksänneksi.
Xi Yu Lin on pelannut LPGA:lla vuodesta 2014 saavuttamatta kuitenkaan yhtään voittoa. Taitoa löytyy, hyviä sijoituksia on melkoisesti.
Majoreihin lukeutuvassa Women´s PGA Championshipissa hän oli alkukesästä kolmas.
Hong Kongin kilpailuun järjestäjät olivat sopimusteitse ostaneeet mukaan maailmantähdistä Jin Young Kon lisäksi kaksi majoria kuluvalla kaudella voittaneen Lilia Vun, joka sijoittui kahdeksanneksi.
Suomalaisten menestys henkilökohtaisessa sarjassa jäi vaatimattomaksi.
Ursula Wikström ja Noora Komulainen (+1) jakoivat sijalukua 38. Tiia Koiviston (+3) sijaluvuksi tuli 52:s, Sanna Nuutinen karsiutui (+8).
Henkilökohtaisessa sarjassa Wikströmin, Komulaisen ja Koiviston yhteiset ansiot olivat 7 280 €.
Joukkuekilpailussa, jossa kolmen ammattilaisen lisäksi kahteen reikäkohtaiseen tulokseen vaikuttaa myös ryhmän amatöörijäsenen tulos, meni paremmin.
Suomalaisten ansiot tässä sarjassa olivat 16 770 €, lähes 4 200 € pelaajaa kohden.
Sanna Nuutinen oli viidenneksi sijoittuneessa ryhmässä. Ansiot olivat 6396 €.
Myös Tiia Koivisto (5174 €) ja Noora Komulainen (4021 €) saivat joukkuekisasta huomattavasti henkilökohtaista kisaa muhkeammat tilit.
Ursula Wikströmin(1187 €) tiimi jäi häntäpäähän, euroja jaettiin kuitenkin totutusti kaikille osallistuneille ammattilaisille.
Molemmissa sarjoissa palkintorahaa oli jaossa 500 000 Yhdysvaltojen dollaria.
