Mr. Björn: This is why you should choose Mikko Korhonen for The Ryder Cup

GoGolf haluaa yhteisönä esittää tukensa Mikko Korhosen Ryder Cup -valinnalle. Perustelemme seuraavassa englanniksi Ryder Cup -kapteeni Thomas Björnille, minkä takia hänen pitäisi valita joukkueeseensa suomalainen pokerinaama Mikko Korhonen.

On behalf of the number one Finnish golf society GoGolf we would like to approach you with an important matter: 

As you have seen in the past few weeks, the European Ryder Cup Team has a weapon, that even the strong US Team has not taken into consideration. He is probably the best kept secret in global golfing world before this summer. 

Mikko Korhonen. Yes, the name might be one of the most common Finnish names. The guy himself might not be too much into spotlights. His answers to media are pretty similar with our second biggest superstar Kimi Räikkönen. 

As a society we would like to share our opinion with you on how important it is for the global golf industry to get Mikko on that team. 

• First of all Mikko has never lost a matchplay nor four ball match in his professional career. 
• Mikko has never lost a point in a Ryder Cup
• Mikko hits more than 100% of fairways if believing in rumors
• When he wears his shades, he has one of the best pokerface´s available on your team (pair him up with Stenson we recommend)
• He loves wine. He even chooses his calendar so he can drink and eat his favorite dishes (Sicily this year, get the point?)
• So Paris: He feels like home, even though its the greatest showcase in golf.

Your friend Jim Furyk will probably choose Tiger (Woods) as the captain’s pick. This is the guy who has won 14 majors so far. As a great captain, you must have an answer to that challenge. We bet Tiger and the whole US Team would shit their pants if they would see the ”Finnish Killer” in the European Team – how would you react?

Maybe the most important thing after all is the support of the Finns. We have 5.5 million people living here. There are 145 000 golfers. We promise that the whole golfing Finland would be behind the team if you choose ”Korppa” (nickname for Korhonen) to the team.

We bet Mikko would bring us many points, lots of happy moments and short answers in the interviews. He would also bring a great deal of visibility for the event as most of our 145 000 golfers would be cheering for the team through Viasat Golf.

So on behalf of GoGolf and our golfing community we would recommend for you to give one of the wild cards for ”The Finnish PokerFace”
